Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and possess a deep understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. You will be working closely with the development team to identify, document, and resolve issues to ensure a flawless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans for manual and automated testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure requirements are clear and met.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Validate bug fixes and perform impact analysis to ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Participate in Agile development processes, providing feedback during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Write clear and comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
- Ensure high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in QA or software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and tools.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Proficiency in manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar is a plus.
- Understanding of APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI.
- Knowledge of databases and experience with SQL for data validation.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
